Standby Rescue – Confined Space
Highly trained rescue technicians
SBR confined space rescue technicians all hold level 3 industrial rope access qualification. Level 3 rope access is the highest level of training when it comes to rope access & standby rescue. SBR are continually training our staff for all types of confined space rescue situations ensuring that we stay up to date with the latest equipment, procedures and techniques.
Advanced & technical standby rescue systems
Artificial high directional, High angle, 3-dimensional, tramway – keel haul is just a few of our advanced & technical rescue systems that allow us to perform standby rescue in all types of confined spaces. Not all confined space entries are a simple vertical entry or exit, these advanced, technical rescue systems allow SBR to cover multi-level and deep horizontal environments. SBR will install and certify temporary or permanent anchor points as required.
Latest equipment
SBR supplies all the latest rescue equipment including power winches, mechanical advantage hand operated systems, remote rescue systems eliminating the need to enter the confined space to perform a rescue. SBR will provide first aid/trauma gear including patient packaging systems using specially designed rescue litters which can be used at any angle ensuring patient safety and security.
First responders / Emergency Rescue Team
Occupational first aid / first responders through to industrial paramedics for remote locations. SBR supplies de-fibs, oxygen and full trauma first aid kits for all confined space standby rescue works. Staff hold Certificate IV in training and assessment, Certificate IV in WHS/Occupational first aid/ Level 3 rescue.
Issue permits
SBR standby rescue staff are confined space advanced workers which allows us to completely control your confined space requirements including hazard & risk assessments/ Issue entry permits/ gas testing and rescue rehearsal.
Standby Rescue – Geotechnical
SBR provides Standby Rescue for Geotechnical projects using advanced & technical rescue systems for geologists and level 3 rope access technician support.
Our highly trained expert level 3 industrial rope access technicians will look after all of your rigging, provide safe systems of work and develop site specific rescue plans.
The advanced & technical rescue systems we use allow us to perform standby rescues in all types of environments in the geotechnical world. We carry all the latest, most advanced rope rescue equipment available.
Occupational first aid through to industrial paramedics is standard for all your remote locations.
